Cookies and device storage

Updated 2026-10-01Draft for the Crowd Echo preview. Legal operator details and the final policies must be confirmed before launch.

Essential storage

The website uses session and security cookies for login, email verification and request protection. The app stores secure login credentials, necessary preferences and temporary upload state. These are used to provide the service you request, rather than for advertising.

Optional analytics

Optional app usage analytics starts off. You can enable or disable it in Settings. Disabling it stops new collection and clears queued events from this device. No advertising or optional marketing-cookie integration is currently enabled on the business website, so there is no accept-all cookie banner. Any future non-essential tracking must remain blocked until the required choice has been made.

Managing storage

Sign out to remove the current session, use your browser controls to clear website data, or delete your member account in Profile. Clearing browser storage alone does not delete your server account. Device permissions can also be changed in your phone's settings.
